Description of Services

Individual, Couple and Family Therapy - That theoretical orientation which predominates within the sessions is the humanistic modality; I sit not as an expert primarily, but as a human. In so doing safety infuses the room, permitting struggle, process and growth. Even still the greatest transformation takes place through the trance (combination of breathing exercises, visualization and mantra) work.

Lecturer - I have lectured extensively throughout Europe and America on the subjects of spirituality, yoga/meditation and African-American studies.

Group Facilitator - I have facilitated groups throughout social service agencies with staff, as well as for clients of diverse populations (i.e. substance abuse, batterers, etc.). Here is a quote from a CEO: "Our staff is composed of African-American, Latino, European, Asian, Caucasian, Gay and Straight men and women. Siri is able to respect each member of the group by listening, encouraging and challenging us to be clear, direct and open in our communication with one another."

Workshop Leader - In national and international locales I have conducted workshops with titles such as "It's All About Love," "Life is Practice" and "The Meditative Mind." In all of my workshops diversity of exercises and activities are combined in an effective and artistic manner, to elevate, inspire and teach.

Writer - My writings have appeared in magazines such as Whole Life Times, Dysonna, Being Alive and Alternatives.
