Brief Biography
Siri Sat Nam is a licensed therapist (MFT) who is currently in private practice. He has formerly worked (i.e. clinical director, supervisor, group facilitator, consultant) in innumerable social service agencies within South Central Los Angeles where he serviced populations of substance-dependent clientele, battered women, domestic violence perpetrators, children at risk, individuals with difficult to incurable diseases, as well as those diagnosed with severe psychoses. He has been recognized internationally as a dynamic lecturer on Eastern spiritual philosophies and master teacher of yoga.
His writings have been published in magazines (i.e. Whole Life Times, Alternatives, Awareness), which present a holistic perspective on well-being. He most recently received the Brotherhood Award from "In the Meantime" African-American Men's group.
Presently he is working towards completion of his PhD in Depth Psychology from Pacifica Graduate Institute. |
